We made it... today, McKenzie, Bailey, and I arrived in Doha! Adel's "21" album as well as many random movies and TV shows occupied me for most of the flight. We were greeted by Mom, Dad and Graham, and for the first time, drove through Doha as a family. What a great city! We enjoyed some delicious lentil and bean soup with chips and part of a shawarma at home for dinner. Delicious! Of course the meal, which was more like a sedative after a long plane flight mixed with a trip to the hot tub at our compound provided the perfect sedative for sleep.. lets see how this goes. .
We leave tomorrow at 1:00am for our flight to the Maldives. Ready to hit the beach? Not sure what it will be like there, but I hear it is beautiful for sure! May the Lord bless our travels! Will post about the Maldives in a little over a week. So excited and thanks for reading!
NOTE: as I am writing this post, my computer changed over to an arabic setting of some kind, which did not happen the last time I was here. So as I type everything is backwards and the curser remains at the beginning of the line instead of the end of the line I am typing, kind of interesting. Sorry if there are major mistakes, haha
